Applies To: All buyers and sellers using the AllStarBids platform

Marketplace Role of AllStarBids

AllStarBids operates solely as an online auction marketplace that connects independent buyers and sellers. AllStarBids is not the seller, exporter, importer, shipper, or customs declarant of items listed unless explicitly stated in writing.

All transactions occur directly between buyers and sellers. As such:

• Sellers control item pricing and shipping terms

• Buyers are responsible for purchase decisions

• AllStarBids acts only as an intermediary platform

• AllStarBids does not take title to listed goods

Cross-Border Transactions

When an item is shipped across international borders, the shipment may be subject to government-imposed charges and regulatory review. These may include:

• Import duties

• Customs tariffs

• VAT / GST / sales taxes

• Brokerage fees

• Clearance charges

• Carrier handling fees

• Regulatory inspection fees

These charges are determined by government authorities and shipping carriers — not by AllStarBids.

Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers are solely responsible for any import-related charges associated with cross-border purchases. Buyer obligations include:

• Paying applicable import duties and taxes

• Paying customs clearance and brokerage fees

• Complying with local import laws and restrictions

• Providing accurate delivery and identity information if requested by carriers or authorities

These charges are separate from and in addition to:

• Auction winning bid amounts

• Seller shipping charges

• AllStarBids platform fees

• Payment processing fees

• Platform-collected taxes where applicable

Failure to pay customs charges may result in delayed delivery, return of shipment, or seizure by authorities. AllStarBids is not responsible for such outcomes.

Seller Responsibilities

Sellers are solely responsible for all shipping and export compliance obligations related to items they sell. Seller obligations include:

• Accurate item descriptions

• Truthful declared values

• Proper customs documentation

• Correct tariff classifications when required

• Accurate country of origin statements

• Compliance with export regulations

Sellers must not:

• Undervalue items to reduce duties

• Mislabel package contents

• Mark commercial items as “gifts” when inaccurate

• Submit false customs declarations

AllStarBids does not verify seller customs documentation and assumes no liability for seller-provided information.

Platform Fees vs Government Charges

AllStarBids platform fees and invoices relate only to marketplace services and do not include foreign customs charges. Platform charges may include:

• Listing fees

• Final value fees

• Buyer premiums (if applicable)

• Payment processing fees

• Required marketplace tax collection where legally mandated

Government import charges are separate and are never represented as AllStarBids fees.

Shipping & Carrier Authority

Shipping carriers and customs agencies have sole authority to:

• Assess import charges

• Require additional documentation

• Delay or inspect shipments

• Reclassify declared goods

• Adjust duty assessments

AllStarBids does not control and cannot override these decisions.

Delivery Delays & Customs Holds

Cross-border shipments may be delayed due to:

• Customs inspections

• Regulatory review

• Documentation verification

• Duty payment processing

AllStarBids is not responsible for delays caused by customs or government authorities.

Tax Responsibility

Sellers Sellers are responsible for determining and fulfilling their own tax obligations arising from sales, including business, sales, and value-added taxes unless explicitly collected by the platform where required by law.

Buyers Buyers are responsible for import taxes and destination-country taxes assessed at delivery.

Misrepresentation & Enforcement

Misrepresentation of shipment value, contents, or classification violates AllStarBids policy and may result in:

• Listing removal

• Transaction cancellation

• Account suspension

• Permanent marketplace ban

• Reporting to payment processors

• Reporting where legally required

User Acknowledgment

By using the AllStarBids platform as a buyer or seller, you acknowledge and agree that:

• AllStarBids is a marketplace intermediary only

• Cross-border transactions may incur government-imposed fees

• These fees are outside AllStarBids’ control

• Buyers and sellers are responsible for their respective customs and tax obligations
