Buyer Agreement

AllStarBids Buyer Agreement

This Buyer Agreement (“Agreement”) governs all purchases, bids, and transactions made by users (“Buyers”) on the AllStarBids platform.

By placing a bid, submitting an offer, or completing a purchase on AllStarBids, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement, along with any applicable auction terms and policies.

1. Buyer Eligibility

To participate as a Buyer on AllStarBids, you must:

  • Be at least eighteen (18) years of age

  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts

  • Provide valid and accurate payment information

  • Comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws

AllStarBids reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate Buyer access for violations of this Agreement or applicable policies.

2. Bidding and Purchases

All bids, offers, and purchase commitments made on AllStarBids are binding.

By participating, you agree that:

  • You will complete payment for any winning bid or accepted offer within 72 hours (3 days) of auction completion

  • You will not retract bids except where explicitly permitted under auction rules

  • Failure to complete payment may result in penalties, loss of bidding privileges, or account suspension

AllStarBids may take enforcement action to protect the integrity of the auction process.

3. Pricing, Fees, and Taxes

Buyers are responsible for paying:

  • The final bid or purchase price

  • Any applicable buyer’s premiums

  • Sales taxes, VAT/GST, customs duties, or similar charges

All applicable pricing, fees, and premiums will be clearly disclosed prior to checkout or confirmation of purchase.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Unless otherwise stated in the applicable auction or listing terms:

  • Sellers ship items directly to Buyers

  • Shipping terms are governed by the completed auction conditions

  • Settlement statements will reflect applicable shipping arrangements

Delivery timelines are estimates only.
AllStarBids is not responsible for shipping delays, carrier performance, or logistical issues outside its control.

5. Condition and Authenticity

Buyers acknowledge and agree that:

  • Items are sold “as is” unless expressly stated otherwise

  • Third-party grading, authentication, or condition opinions represent professional judgments, not guarantees

  • Market value is subjective and may fluctuate over time

Buyers are responsible for reviewing all listing details prior to bidding or purchase.

6. Disputes and Chargebacks

AllStarBids does not issue returns or refunds for completed auction items. As outlined in our Terms and Conditions and User Agreement, allstarbids.com acts strictly as an intermediary. While we take every best-practice step to ensure a legitimate marketplace, we cannot guarantee a specific resolution for every dispute. Transaction Disputes All disputes must be resolved exclusively between the Buyer and the Seller. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Payment Disputes: Issues regarding the transfer of funds.

  • Shipping Delays: Concerns over delivery timelines or tracking.

  • Item Issues: Concerns regarding the condition or authenticity of an item.

  • Buyer Remorse: Requests to cancel a bid or purchase after the auction ends.

  • Pricing: Disagreements regarding the final hammer price or associated costs.

Important Guidelines for Buyers To maintain a fair community, we require the following:

  • No Early Chargebacks: Buyers must refrain from initiating chargebacks until a formal resolution attempt has been reached through the platform.

  • Policy Compliance: Buyers agree to accept dispute resolution outcomes determined in accordance with AllStarBids platform policies.

  • Account Protection: Please note that improper or abusive chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AllStarBids shall not be liable for:

  • Seller misrepresentations or omissions

  • Changes in market value or demand

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

AllStarBids acts as a platform provider and does not guarantee transaction outcomes.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

AllStarBids reserves the right to suspend or terminate Buyer accounts for:

  • Non-payment or payment disputes

  • Misuse of the platform

  • Violations of this Agreement or related policies

Such actions may be taken to protect the integrity and fairness of the auction environment.

9. Buyer Tax Responsibility and Regulatory Reporting

Buyers are solely responsible for:

  • Sales tax obligations

  • VAT/GST

  • Import duties and customs requirements

  • Any required regulatory reporting

AllStarBids may report transactions, including high-value purchases, to regulatory authorities and provide required tax documentation in accordance with applicable laws.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which AllStarBids is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
